How Co-Hosting Works
1
2
3
4
5
1. You tell us about the car
Year, model, mileage, condition, where it is now, and whether it’s financed. The online quiz takes about two minutes. If you’re still choosing a car, say so — we’ll tell you what works in our market before you buy.
2. We review the car and the numbers
Every vehicle is reviewed individually: year, mechanical and cosmetic condition, mileage, history, trim, and whether there is real demand for that model in South Florida. If the car needs significant repair or body work, we’ll ask for it to be fixed before intake. If the economics don’t work — purchase price, depreciation, insurance or expected rental performance — we’ll tell you that too.
3. You sign the agreement and hand over the car
Intake and inspection happen at our base in Hollywood, FL. The agreement is for one year and sets the split and which expenses are deducted. Either side can exit early with 30 days’ notice; shorter notice carries a $500 fee per vehicle.
4. We prepare and list the car
Professional photos, marketing materials, listing, and a starting price based on model, trim, season and current demand. On average, the first booking comes about a week after the car goes live.
5. The car works. You get paid.
We handle renters, insurance verification, delivery and return, washes between trips, and condition checks. You receive 70% of every completed rental, with a statement on the 5th of each month and an ACH payout on the 15th.

You don’t look for renters, answer requests, coordinate hand-overs, manage the calendar or wash the car after every trip. The car is run as part of a working rental fleet, and G.M.Luxe Car Rental has the same interest you do in its utilization, its condition and its long-term reliability.
HOW YOU GET PAID
The 70/30 Split, Explained
The standard co-hosting model is 70% to the owner and 30% to G.M.Luxe Car Rental. The 30% is the management fee. It covers sales and bookings, renter communication, operational coordination, deliveries and returns, condition checks between trips, and keeping the car visible and competitive in the fleet.
Payouts are calculated on completed rentals only — not on bookings that haven’t happened yet. Agreed expenses that belong to your specific car (insurance, storage, washes) are deducted from the owner’s share according to the agreement, and you see each one on your monthly statement.

Insurance (commercial product): about −$175

BEFORE YOU HAND OVER THE KEYS
Which Cars We Accept
G.M.Luxe Car Rental reviews every car individually before it joins the fleet. What we look at:
-
Year, mileage, history — the car has to be safe, sound and presentable at the level G.M.Luxe clients expect.
-
Condition — cars that need significant mechanical or body work are accepted only after the work is done.
-
Demand — whether South Florida renters actually ask for this model and whether we can sell and service it efficiently.
Accepting a car into co-hosting is a different question from recommending one to buy. We’ll manage a car that is already yours if it’s in good shape. We won’t necessarily recommend that same model to someone buying specifically for rental — depreciation, insurance and purchase price change the math.
Categories that consistently perform in our fleet: Lamborghini Huracan, Porsche 911, Corvette, Mercedes G-Class and Ferrari. We’re cautious about new electric vehicles and new luxury SUVs with steep depreciation.

PROTECTION
Insurance: Two Layers, Not One
LAYER 1
Off-trip
The car itself, when it’s not rented
In the standard 70/30 model, insuring the vehicle is the owner’s responsibility under the agreement. For Mercedes, Porsche, Corvette, BMW and similar, we can connect you to a commercial insurance product — currently around $175–195/month, reimbursed from your earnings. For Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin and similar exotics, the owner arranges suitable coverage independently — around $400/month as a guide, depending on the car and policy.
LAYER 2
On-trip
While a renter has the car
Before every rental we verify the renter’s own insurance: proof of coverage, a recorded confirmation call with their insurer, and a check that the policy applies to a rental vehicle and to the car’s actual cash value. Renters without suitable coverage — international visitors, people who don’t own a car — can be offered a third-party insurance product. If a renter damages the car, the renter pays the deductible.
Insurance verification is a separate step of check-in, not a formality after the keys are handed over. G.M.Luxe Car Rental is not an insurance company; coverage is always defined by the policy terms.

WHERE WE WORK
Who We Work With
Owners come to us from Miami, Hollywood, Sunny Isles, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach. Our base in Hollywood sits between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, which lets one car serve both markets without being tied to a single tourist center.

Owners Outside Florida
We also take cars from owners who live outside Florida. A supercar that sits in a garage in New Jersey can work in South Florida during our high season, November through June, and go home for July–October. Shipping to Florida and back is arranged and paid by the owner.

OWNER QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions
MONEY
How much will my car make per month?
It depends on the model, the season and the price. Current operating benchmarks in the G.M.Luxe fleet: a Suburban around $250/day × 12 days (about $3,000/month gross), a Mercedes G550 $450 × 16 (about $7,200), a G63 $550 × 16 (about $8,800), a Lamborghini Huracan $1,200 × 12 (about $14,400). These are gross rental figures before the 30% fee and your own costs, and they are not guaranteed.
What percentage do you take?
30% of completed rental revenue — that’s the G.M.Luxe management fee. Storage ($100/month) and washes ($25 per rental) are costs of your specific car and are deducted from your share.
How often do I get paid?
Monthly. You get a statement on the 5th and an ACH payout on the 15th of every month.
What if the car doesn’t earn enough to cover my payment?
We don’t guarantee that it will. Co-hosting doesn’t turn every car into a profitable asset — the result depends on the model, what it costs you to own, the season and realistic expectations. If the numbers don’t work for your car, we’ll say so before you hand it over.
INSURANCE AND RISK
Who pays insurance?
Off-trip insurance on the vehicle is the owner’s responsibility. For Mercedes, Porsche, Corvette, BMW and similar, we can connect you to a commercial product at around $175–195/month. Exotics like Lamborghini and Ferrari are insured by the owner, around $400/month as a guide. During a rental, the renter’s verified insurance or a third-party product applies.
What if a renter crashes my car?
G.M.Luxe takes the car to a repair shop, opens the claim on the renter’s verified insurance, receives the payout and organizes the repair. Settlement usually takes 1–3 months, depending on the insurer and the damage. The renter pays the deductible.
Who pays for maintenance and repairs?
The owner. We coordinate the work and schedule it to minimize downtime, so the car is back earning as fast as possible.
HOW IT WORKS
Can I use my car when I want?
Yes. If the car is free, the dates you need are blocked right away — no notice period required.
How quickly does the car start renting?
On average, about a week after the car goes live. It depends on the car, the price and the season, and we don’t promise a date for the first rental.
How many times a month does the car rent?
Typically 4–6 rentals a month per car.
How long is the agreement, and can I leave?
The agreement is for one year. You can exit early with 30 days’ notice; with shorter notice there’s a $500 fee per vehicle.
Do you list my car on Turo?
No. G.M.Luxe Car Rental works with direct bookings only. Cars in our fleet are not listed on Turo or other marketplaces.
Where do I bring the car?
To our base at 230 S Dixie Hwy, Hollywood, FL 33020. Intake, inspection and photos happen there.
Do I have to live in Florida?
No. We work with owners from other states. The car needs to be in Florida; you don’t. Shipping to Florida and back is arranged and paid by the owner.
